Meanwhile, inside, demonstrators held a sit-in and chanted for a ceasefire as they shouted down the speeches of Rep.Adam Schiff (D-CA) and Rep. Katie Porter (D-CA).

They demanded a ceasefire with the threat, “In November, we will remember.”

They went all in with the antisemitism, chanting, “From the river to the sea.”

They were booted out of the convention hall to the lobby, where they had a sit-in.

But then, if that wasn’t enough, there was a security breach of the building. Security teams had to work to clear the demonstrators out.

As a result of all the chaos, they had to shut down the scheduled events for the evening.
Shery Yang, the communications director for the California Democrats gave KCRA 3 the following statement: “Due to circumstances beyond our control, and for the safety and security of our delegates and convention participants, we are canceling tonight’s caucus meetings, hospitality suites, and VoteFest taking place at the convention center. More information for tomorrow’s General Session will be shared this evening.”
The demonstrators cheered when they heard this.

Porter and Schiff do not support a ceasefire. Another speaker in attendance, Rep. Barbara Lee (D-CA), announced that she was for a ceasefire on Friday, joining the radical Democrats who were for it. But this was typical Democrats — shutting down people to get their way, even if the people shut down were also Democrats. It’s funny that in the process, they shut down the execrable Adam Schiff.
Many of the demonstrators were wearing masks. So either they’re still obsessed with COVID, or they’re too cowardly to show their faces — so much for their convictions.
And they’ve clearly shown they don’t care about shutting down Democrats, just like when they tried to shut down an event at the DNC.
