According to a recent video from DidYouKnowGaming, Activision rejected the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 remake. Despite all of the praise from THPS 1+2 and it being a major source of revenue for Activision in their 2020 investor’s briefing, they still declined to green light the project. Instead they wanted developer Vicarious Visions to work on supplementing their larger franchises, including Call of Duty.
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 released on Steam 6 months ago, after being released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and the Epic Games Store in September 2020 and then on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S in March 2021.
